* Wei Yang (b. Liuzhou, 1994) is an artist currently living and working in Frankfurt am Main. Working with painting, sculpture, and performance, Yang explores the human being as a geographic and diasporic subject. By layering memories of intimacy, Yang generates hybrid images through folklore, myths, marginalized history, and personal landscapes, which serve as sites that investigate grand narratives and archival neglect.
